A scrapper in the making

I dont know about the rest of australia, though here in Melbourne there was a teachers strike today... well.. atleast for some of the classes in government schools. B1 & B2 were very dissapointed that it was only Miss M's class that was affected and that they could not accompany me to work. Normally Matt would happily take a day off to offer care when i have to work, though today saw him needing to requalify for his weapons... so i did what i had to do and took a 6 year old into a scrappers dreamland. WORK.

She was brilliant and made me so proud. Her baby, teddy and an over packed lunch box accompanied her and while mama worked, she "scrapped*" her own things as well as making her little boyfriend a valentines card since she was not going to be able to see him at school. Im sure he will love it tomorrow when he gets it. :)

B1 was totally dissapointed after all the hard work that she went to to get her boyfriend some wonderful gifts that his class had been affected by the school strike as well.. though, apparently, they caught up over the school fence at lunch time and she was able to exchange a little of what she had got for him, visiting at his house in the afternoon with the rest... including a huge teddy bear.
She is growing up so fast... a red rose and the sweetest card was given to her today ... she was over the moon..
He thinks she is "The ONE!"

* = to cut little pieces of paper and patterns and adhere them randomly over any flat scrappable surface. EG. computer paper, card or other paper.

(she knows how to scrap a page properly, though without a photo.. she just went into t cut and paste mode~L~)
